PhD in Clinical Neuroscience

The PhD in Clinical Neuroscience is Zeit's terminal research degree: a Level 8 (European Qualifications Framework) doctorate structured as 105 credits of advanced coursework, 32 credits of research seminars and a 60-credit doctoral dissertation, for a total of 197 academic credits. Admission

Entry requirements

  • A master's degree (or equivalent second-cycle qualification) in neuroscience, psychology, medicine or a closely related discipline
  • Evidence of prior research training — a master's thesis, publication or equivalent research output
  • A research statement outlining the proposed doctoral project and its fit with Zeit Neurolab supervision capacity
  • Two academic references
  • English proficiency (C1 or equivalent) for candidates whose prior degree was not taught in English
